Terms & Conditions

The following terms govern your use of and purchase of products from our website. Your use of the website constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by those terms stated. The Dress Society may from time to time change the terms that govern your use of the website. Your use of the website following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms as changed. We may change, move or delete portions of, or may add to, the website from time to time, without prior notice.


Product Information

The Dress Society reserves the right to change product information from time to time without prior notice. We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you will see depend on the color calibration of your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. No refunds or exchanges will be given in such cases.

Sizing & Measurements

All sizes and measurements are taken in inches and may differ by 0.5 - 1 inch approximately. However we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possilbe and this slight discrepancy is not considered a manufacturing defect. We make every effort to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of items appearing on the website are correct at the time of transaction.


All prices displayed are listed in Singapore Dollars, valid for orders in Singapore. All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices quoted for each item are inclusive of local shipping fees (Normal mail), unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change the prices without prior notice.

Completion of transaction

Once you have confirmed an order, you will recieve an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email does not represent a reservation of the item(s). The transaction between you and The Dress Society will only be completed upon dispatch of items from The Dress Society.

We reserve the right to refuse any order in the event, for example, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawal of any products from the website whether or not that products has been sold; removal; screening or modification of any materials or content on the website; refusal to process a transaction or unwinding or suspecting of any transaction after processing has begun.

Availability of Products

Products are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when an order is placed and the time when an order is accepted, the stock availability may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible via email.

In cases where item ordered and paid for becomes unavailable, full refund will be given as soon as possible. Please allow for one to two business days for this refund process.


All confirmed orders should be paid up for as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. By purchasing an item from us, you are deemed to have been agreeable to all the Terms & Conditions stated.

Order Cancellation

We regret to inform you that upon confirmation, no cancellation of order will be allowed. No exceptions will be made.

Return and Exchange Policy

The Dress Society Return and Exchange Policy apply only to online purchases made through the website, www.thedresssociety.com. All sales of e-Vouchers, Gift cards, The Dress Society cards, jewellery and items marked as “Sale” are final. These “Final Sale” items cannot be returned for exchange, refunds or credit. For all other items, to qualify for an exchange, refund or credit, merchandise and items must be returned unworn and unwashed, accompanied by the invoice. Returns are accepted within 14 days from shipped date. If any item, other than “Final Sale” items, purchased at www.thedresssociety.com falls into any of the below stated conditions, it may be returned to The Dress Society by mail. However, please write us an e-mail with the subject as “Request for Item Return/Exchange” and send the e-mail to customerservice@thedresssociety.com

Conditions to qualify for return and exchange are as follow:

1. Defects in products. Defects include holes and discolouration.

2. Wrong product size shipped.

In most circumstances, you may be asked to provide snapshots of the “defective” item for us to determine the severity of defect before we request for the item to be mailed back to us. Defective items are subject to inspection and only if defects are found, should The Dress Society credit the appropriate amount to your account. If no defects are found, items will be returned to customers, with customers bearing the additional shipping costs. The Dress Society will not ship back the items until payment of additional shipping costs has been made. Please note that in all cases of return and exchange, customers bear the shipping costs incurred in mailing the items back to The Dress Society. The Dress Society will only bear the shipping costs if The Dress Society was the party that shipped the wrong item. Customers shall bear full responsibility in making sure items mailed back are packed securely and sealed properly. The Dress Society will not be responsible for lost mails in connection to such returns or exchange. For refunds, please allow seven business days from receipt of returned items for your account to be credited with the amount you paid for the items excluding postage paid during your purchase. The Dress Society does not refund the amount with cash sent over mail for security reasons. Hence, your bank account number and all other required details shall be provided to The Dress Society once your return request has been approved. For exchange, items shall be of equivalent amount or less than the amount of initial item purchased. The Dress Society reserves the right to replace the same item if stocks are available. The Dress Society reserves the right to exercise discretion in permitting all returns and exchanges. Items mailed back to The Dress Society without prior confirmation with us will not be entertained.

Usage of content

"Content" is defined as all information such as the look and feel of the website, data files, graphics, text, photographs, drawings, logos, images, sounds, music, video or audio files on the website. The content presented on the website is presented, "as is", and we do not guarantee is accuracy, whether explicit or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors, update product information, make changes or withdraw any part of our site at any time as we deem necessary. Removal may be immediate and without notice. The Dress Society is not liable to you or any third party for any such withdrawal.


All product images are the property of The Dress Society unless otherwise stated and must be fully credited. They are for your personal and non-commercial use only. Should you use our pictures for re-sale of your item, appropriate credits should be provided.


This website and all contents of the website are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You understand and accept that your use of the site is at your own sole risk, and that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with your use of the website, and that The Dress Society shall not be liable for any damages of any kind related to your use of this website.
